Wildlife Leah
Welcome to Woods & Wilderness with Leah! This is where I will be uploading my journals, assignments, and even thoughts on the Woods and Wilderness. There is so much to learn as, we embark on this new journey. I like to think of the wild as the ocean, because it has so many misconceptions and can never be truly defined. As we may know things about the Wild, we do not know everything. Yet on this website you'll learn with me!
TReesTrees are plentiful in the wilderness! You may spot a willow or even a sycamore tree. Regardless of what you find they all serve a purpose! |
Exploring WildernessWhen you are in the wilderness alone, always take precautions. Although the woods are beautiful, they also hold dangers. Make sure to always bring essentials with you from water to your phone. As you don't know what you may need! |
bugsBugs are everywhere, especially in humid spaces. When you are in the wilderness, you'd like to believe that bugs would swarm you. Yet they are too busy helping the wilderness. It could be a beetle, crickets, or even bees, they all have a duty. So be gentle when in their environment. |

A little More into the Woods
In a point in time wilderness was all people knew. They would learn how to build tents, catch food, and even know which foods in the wild are safe and not safe. Of course, as time has gone on things have developed. Roads, Highways, and even buildings have been built over this very land. Although we still have areas of wilderness left in the world, they aren't as they used to be. Indigenous people, for many years have been in tuned with the wilderness and how to maneuver through it. Showing that people were able to survive in the and be one with the wilderness.
